WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT:

Timeline

  • Waiting for UDOT to publish the Draft EIS Fall 2025

  • Public hearing and a 45-day formal comment period when the Draft EIS is published to help us better understand potential impacts.

  • A final decision on the selected alternative is anticipated in spring 2026, and will take into consideration transportation performance, impacts to the natural and built environment, and public and agency input from formal comment periods.

Public Engagement

  • Letters via certified mail to all property owners who could potentially be directly  impacted by Alternatives A and/or B to ensure they are aware of the EIS process and opportunities to be involved, along with a summary of UDOT’s right-of-way process.

Disregarding existing roads.
